Delhi Airport Terminal 3
Delhi Airport Terminal 3 is the newest terminal. It was opened in 2010 and is one of the biggest terminals in the world, being able to handle up to 40 million passengers per year.
All International flights are operated from T3 and some domestic flights too.
IGI TERMINAL 3
Delhi Airport Terminal 3 consist of five levels as follows:
Each level is split into the international and domestic areas.
Ground level
Arrivals area. Domestic Arrivals are accessed from domestic arrivals pier, while international arrivals are accessed from the international
pier. Passengers will find access to transportation options and several services too.
First level
Departures area. Access to international and domestic gates are separated.
See below the boarding gates distribution according to the concourse / pier:
- Domestic Departures concourse: Section C (gates 27-36), Section D (37-41 and 42-62).
- International Departures concourse: Section A (gates 1-3 and 4-14), Section B (gates 15-26).
Second level
It houses some airport lounges and the food court.
Third level
Airport lounges.
Fourth level
Airport lounges area.
Fifth level
The Transit Hotel (international and domestic wings).
Transfer between terminals
There is an inter terminal shuttle bus free of use that connect both terminals. Frequency every 20 minutes between terminals. Shuttle bus is operated by DIAL.
